I started teaching in 2005 as a PK-12 music/band/general music/colorguard specialist in Antlers, OK.  In 2007 I moved to Sherman, TX to teach beginning band and colorguard while assisting at the high school.  I'm currently the music teacher at Henry Sory Elementary and have been since 2013.  In 2016 I took on the role of Elementary Music Facilitator for Sherman ISD.

I grew up in Oklahoma, but I love teaching in Texas.  I'm married to my wonderful husband Matt and we have two beautiful children.  I love to sing and play music, garden, and read.
